I have two birthdays! My first birthday is the day I was born and my second birthday is the day I was banded, on 1-13-05. I had reached a weight of 238 pounds and I panicked. I had tried everything to lose weight without success. I did my research and discovered the adjustable lap band, and then I discovered Dr. Kuri!
I had my surgery without any complications and my weight loss was slow in the beginning, however, once I achieved good restriction, the serious weight loss began. I have reached my goal and actually went beyond that. I’m now 90 pounds lighter and I wear a perfect size 7…..I feel great!
Dr. Kuri and his team were magnificent and the care they give to each patient is just incredible.
