Haley P, a 25 year old patient Dr Kuri with PCOS had Gastric Sleeve Surgery in November of 2021. At the time of surgery, Haley weighed 350 lbs. She contacted us less than one year following surgery in August of 2022 with extraordinary results. She had lost over 225 lbs, had completely changed her life, and was looking and feeling fantastic. We recently received another update from Haley this month in August of 2023 notifying us she was able to have another baby, has maintained her weight loss, and her PCOS is in remission. Update: August 2022
“I have had wonderful success since having Gastric Sleeve Surgery. I am currently weighing 145 lbs and my highest weight was 350! I have hit my personal goal weight and feel like a brand new woman. I feel like I have gained my entire life back! I work out 5 days a week and have taken up kick boxing and CrossFit! I live a very active and healthy lifestyle. I went from a size 24 Jeans to a size 6, and a size 4x top to a size S/M top. Dr. Kuri gave me my life back and I am so thankful!” – Haley P
Update: August 2023
“I am currently 1 year and 9 months post op. I fell pregnant at 8.5 months post op. I struggled with infertility and repeat miscarriages for 3 years after I had my oldest son. PCOS was a major factor in my infertility. I was able to continue my weight loss during my pregnancy and never gained a pound. My baby is currently 6 months old and thriving! I have been able to maintain my weight of 125lbs. I am also happy to report that my doctor allows that my PCOS is currently in remission and not “active” due to my ability to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am now looking into getting skin removal and plastic surgery done. I am so grateful to have my life back! Thank You” – Haley P
